The best option for an active winter vacation is to go to skiing, and one of the best places for skiing is the Alps in Europe. The Alps are a mountain range located in central Europe, located in 5 countries: France, Italy, Austria, Germany and Switzerland. The Alps are well known for amazing beauty, but they are most famous for ski resorts.
