It is the occasion when the campesinos from Antioquia visit this city to showcase their flower designs. The festival celebrated over a week sees a number of events that include car parade and horse parade among other things. On this occasion you will see exhibitions of several floral designs. The festival becomes alive with singers and dancers.
Jardín Botánico (Botanical Gardens):
There can’t be a better place to start your Medellin visit then Jardín Botánico. This middle sized botanical garden is home to some rare varieties of orchids, tropical flowers, plants and trees.
