Top European Resorts
Planning a holiday? The whole thing can get very complicated, especially when catering for a big group of friends or even the whole family. But one thing’s for sure – if you pick a great resort it’s half of the work done for you! You can sit back, relax and let the holiday take care of itself. There are so many fantastic resorts all over Europe, but it`s important to choose carefully when finding that perfect location for your holiday.
One great place to go is the Sani Resort on the Halkidiki Peninsula in northern Greece. Choose from the Sani Beach Hotel (catering for the whole family with activities for the kids), the Sani Asterias suites (the boutique-style hotel with Michellan starred chefs), the Sani Beach Club (for great views of the peninsula) and Porto Sani Village for a really laid-back and peaceful holiday. With great beaches and stunning views it`s a must for anyone seeking a relaxing break.
Further across the Aegean Sea is the LykiaWorld Village Ölüdeniz in Turkey. This picturesque resort boasts two large private beaches and a whole host of shops, restaurants bars and entertainment. There`s also a great range of sports including water-skiing, surfing, sailing, water polo, tennis, rock climbing, scuba diving and Archery. A must for anyone who wants a good mix and activity and relaxation.
Another beautiful place to stay is the Columbia Beach Resort, Cyprus with its calm intimate surroundings and attractive low-rise layout. The resort is situated in the secluded Pissourri Bay with its own sandy beach, long communal swimming pool and comfortable rooms complete with kitchenette. For dining out try the Dionysos Restaurant and for great views go to the Eros Cocktail Bar, particularly if you`re a fan of star-gazing, as they have a high powered telescope.
If France is more to your taste then try The Four Seasons Resort Provence at Terre Blanche. Here you can wine and dine in style in the majestic hills of Provence with a luxury hotel, suites and villas and big golf courses.
Or perhaps you prefer an Italian getaway – then I would recommend The Forte Village at Villa del Parco with its excellent spa and beautiful Sardinian scenery.
Another great destination is the Algarve with its peaceful Sheraton resort located in Albufeira – boasting nine restaurants and three bars. Definitely the place to go to get away from it all and enjoy a welcome break.
