Dream Travel Destinations – Part 1

There are many popular and frequently-visited destinations all around the world. In our Dream Destination series we will show you some of the most amazing destinations, that should be visited by every traveler. In the first part of our series we will show you 7 destinations: Antarctica, Galapagos Islands, Seychelles, The Maldives, Mauritius, Hawaii and Machu Picchu.

Antarctica

Antarctica is Earth’s southernmost continent. It contains the South Pole. Antarctica is covered with snow and there is no real human settlement, but it is one of the most mystical places in the world. Antarctica is widely known for the emperor penguin.

Galapagos Islands

The Galapagos Islands is an archipelago of volcanic islands located in the Pacific Ocean, about 1000 km from the coast of South America. There is no highly developed civilization in the Galapagos Islands, but wild life is very rich.

Seychelles

Seychelles is a country located on an archipelago consisting of 155 islands in the Indian Ocean, 1500 km of Southeast Africa. Seychelles has a population of less then 100,000, but it is visited by many tourists throughout the year, and it is famous for its luxuries.

The Maldives

The Maldives are an island country located in the Indian Ocean, about 600 kilometers southwest of India. It is a well know tourist destination. The whole Maldives are only 2 m above sea level and they are in danger of a rising sea.

Mauritius

Mauritius is an island nation located in the Indian Ocean, 2,000 km east of the African mainland.

Hawaii

Hawaii is the well-known US state located in the Pacific Ocean.

Machu Picchu

Machu Picchu is an Inca mountain town built in 15th century located in modern Peru.
