The Mediterranean Sea is one of the most beautiful parts of the world, with plenty of sandy beaches, beautiful towns and charming islands. In this post we will show you some of the most charming Mediterranean islands: Sicily, Capri, Hvar and Ibiza. Located in different parts of Mediterranean Sea each is unique in its own way. Sicily is the largest Island in the Mediterranean Sea, and it is located in the central Mediterranean. Sicily, a part of Italy, has a long history and rich heritage. Largest Sicilian cities include: Palermo, Messina and Catania.  Mount Etna, an active volcano, is located on the east coast of Sicily. The most famous attractions are:  Valle dei Templi, Palermo Cathedral, Palazzo dei Normanni and many more.


Capri is an island in the Tyrrhenian Sea in the Gulf of Naples, near the city of Naples. Capri is a very famous touristic destination, and is mostly visited in July & August. Today it is a famous touristic attraction.


Hvar is a Croatian island located in Adriatic Sea. The most famous attraction on Hvar is Hvar city. It was founded as a Greek colony and was part of the Republic of Venice.
