The Balearic Isles – A Great Destination for All
If you want to get away from it all this year and head somewhere where you can just relax, then why not head out to one of the Balaeric Islands, which house a fine selection of many fantastic resorts for you to choose from!
If you are a lover of music and the international club/dance/rock scene, then Ibiza should of course be the number one choice for you! Home to some of the best clubs in Europe, including Es Paradis, Amnesia, DC10, Space and Privilege as well as the infamous Ibiza Rocks Hotel where you can enjoy the latest live rock music, Ibiza is one of the most popular destinations for music lovers in the world!
But if you are the kind of person that prefers the quieter side of life, don’t let the major music scene put you off visiting Ibiza, as the island has many quieter areas and resorts that are as equally impressive in their own individual ways such as the resort of Santa Eulalia, which is perfect for romantic getaways and honeymoons, where you can enjoy a relaxed, calm atmosphere and explore the old style village and beautifully cobbled streets, as well as taking advantage of the many fantastic restaurants and the gorgeous white sandy beach.
The resorts on the island of Menorca resemble the resort of Santa Eulalia as they are a lot quieter than many Ibiza resorts and are not over-saturated with lively club goers, so you will find it easy to relax here but still have the option to visit a lively bar or two.
There are plenty of shops, boutiques, bars, restaurants and of course many fine sandy beaches, where the waters are beautifully clear, so you and the family can enjoy some great water activities such as diving and snorkelling!
Known for it’s beautiful stretches of coastline, the island of Majorca is home to some of the best beaches out of all of the islands and you will be pleasantly surprised with the diverse range of sights and activities when travelling the island.
Majorca boasts some fantastic resorts including the very popular Alcudia resort, where you can take advantage of it’s seven mile beach, it’s own beautiful nature reserve and its own water park! The resort of Magaluf, is great if you want fantastic ‘Ibiza like’ nightlife and if you don’t, the resort of Cala Bona offers some great quiet breaks.
